In 1993, Brent Baker established himself as a specialty painted finishes artist, by incorporating his fine arts background with innovative design concepts to create unique custom wall treatments.

He envisioned a company that would provide options to existing marbleized and sponged finishes. He takes inspiration from renaissance craftsmanship, adding to this, his own palate of contemporary application. His philosophy is to transform, to create living "sets" that compliment the client's personality, taste in furnishings and architecture. His distinctive style has become a signature in the design community, where he is known for unique application of textured finishes, stippled glazes and blending of color.

He is an established fine artist with a portfolio of gallery showings nationally and an impressive resume in marketing of giftware and design. Throughout the past seventeen years, an impressive client list has been compiled which includes local media personalities, record producers, restaurant tours and entrepreneurs. He accepts both commercial and residential accounts, as he likes the diversity of the two fields.

Whether the client wants a "one-of-a-kind" abstract mural drifting across a formerly sterile wall; a Mediterranean aged stucco kitchen; a hard-edged SoHo effect for a showroom or a subtle but elegant background for dining, he takes on each assignment with enthusiasm.
